What Does a Life Coach Actually Do?

A life coach looks at your present and helps you visualise your goals to help you create the future you desire. A session with a life coach will feel very different to a session with a therapist as life coaches will provide structure and accountability.


When I was in the darkest depths of despair with my depression and anxiety I went through a lot of therapy, it was great because it was a way of processing everything I was feeling due to past life events such as the loss of my Mum when I was 16 years old. I struggled with this loss for years and therapy was a place for me to talk openly to a completely neutral person.


It wasn't until recent years that I discovered life coaching and for me, it changed everything! It was a place where I could take everything I had learnt about myself from talking to my therapist and actually discuss ways of altering the way I look back at the past. It gave me a clear vision of how I want my future to be and what I need to do to get it.


I completely fell in love with the coaching process to the point where I decided I want to make this a career and help other people the same way coaching helped me.


As a transformational mindset coach I will help you to identify for yourself the change that you need to make and how to make it. I use powerful questioning techniques, active listening and a range of reflective and interactive approaches to enable you to put in place your personal change plan.
